EcoVadis Partners With SGS, QIMA to Strengthen Sustainable Audit Services
EcoVadis expands global partnerships with SGS and QIMA to strengthen its sustainable audit services and enhance ESG verification.
Sustainability ratings firm EcoVadis has expanded its global partnership network by adding Swiss firm Société Générale de Surveillance and Hong Kong-based QIMA as accredited sustainable audit partners to meet growing client demand for trusted onsite verification services.
The move strengthens EcoVadis’ Partner and Alliance network, enabling clients to access high-quality sustainable audit and verification support when ESG assessments reveal elevated risks.
EcoVadis said the new partner accreditation followed a rigorous selection process. Both SGS and QIMA were chosen for their expertise, commitment to quality and client-first approach.
The collaboration aims to ensure seamless delivery of reliable, high-value and sustainable audit services across industries.
“Clients often ask for trusted audit recommendations, and we have a responsibility to connect them with the very best,” said Pierre-François Thaler, co-founder and co-CEO of EcoVadis. “This is about curating a network of experts who share our commitment to client success.”
Strengthening ESG Verification and Remediation
EcoVadis said the partnership will enhance its Worker Voice solution, which uses data insights to identify potential human rights risks.
Clients can now schedule focused onsite investigations, verify findings and track remediation through SGS and QIMA’s accredited auditors.
This integration allows companies to act swiftly when issues arise and ensure continuous improvement in their supply chains.
Mutual Growth Through Collaboration
The addition of SGS and QIMA supports EcoVadis’ broader strategy to build a global partner ecosystem that drives innovation and accelerates sustainable growth.
“This partnership allows us to offer our audit expertise to a wider client base while collaborating with a company that values strategic partnerships,” said Neil Willings, global head of sustainability and supply chain at SGS.
Anouschka Jansen, sustainability director at QIMA, said the collaboration aligns with QIMA’s mission to advance responsible and transparent supply chains. “We take pride in helping EcoVadis members turn sustainability goals into tangible practices,” she said.
Expanding EcoVadis’ Global Reach
EcoVadis said its expanding network reflects its long-term vision to embed sustainability intelligence into business decision-making worldwide.
In 2024, the company acquired Ulula, a worker voice platform that enhances human rights due diligence capabilities. Today, more than 150,000 businesses use EcoVadis ratings, risk and carbon management tools, and e-learning platform across 250 industries in 185 countries.
Its clients include major global companies such as Johnson & Johnson, L’Oréal, Unilever, Bridgestone, BASF and JPMorgan.
